Wills & LPA’s: The importance of having your affairs in order in times of a pandemic
The importance of having your affairs in order in times of a pandemic.
During these uncertain and worrying times it is even more important to ensure you have all your matters in order. At a time where we have very little control over things, let us ensure we utilise the little control we do have.
It is crucial to ensure you have a Will in place to distribute your estate in the way you wish when the time arises. Your assets may not pass to whom you wish without a Will.
In addition, it is also important, particularly in times like these, to consider having a Lasting Power of Attorney put in place, if you have not already done this. This will permit loved ones to assist you in times when you may not be able to manage your affairs, whether that relates to financial decisions or health decisions. A Lasting Power of Attorney allows someone to have a voice when they may not be heard.
We at Z group appreciate how difficult these times are for everyone. We are remaining open and are pleased to assist in all legal matters.
Please rest assured, you need not come to the office, or indeed meet with a solicitor in order to have a Will put in place. This can be carried out remotely.
We have adapted to these trying times by offering; video calls, telephone calls, emails and any other method possible to endeavour to assist our clients whether existing or new.
Where you have the will we have the way.
